Sexual Harassment Services
KWSASC provides free and confidential support for women, 16 years of age and older in Waterloo Region, who have experienced sexual harassment in their workplace or in their educational institution. We can provide individual counselling, advocacy and information on personal and legal options for responding to the harassment.
KWSASC also provides awareness training and resources to employers to prevent and respond to sexual harassment in their own organizations. We welcome the opportunity to facilitate training sessions with your members and can offer guidelines to management on effective prevention techniques.
KWSASC facilitates community workshops for businesses on Workplace Sexual Harassment annually (or more often given a significant demand). To read an article on a previous workshop, please click here.
