Court Support
A newly developed program, KWSASC now offers court support through trained volunteers for women who are called to testify against their alleged offender. Our goal is to provide a 'user-friendly' service to woman who desire emotional support through the criminal justice process.
Recognizing that court proceedings can be a lengthy and often isolating experience, KWSASC will match eligible clients with a female volunteer support group. The volunteers will provide her with consistent, non-judgmental, immediate and basic needs support throughout the court process as desired and needed by the client. The support can be through attendance at court dates and phone support.
